Cocktail attire. Please note that the ceremony and reception are outdoors, so please plan for grass and cobblestones when choosing footwear.
1. Shuttle. There will be one shuttle (school bus) from Salem to Long Hill departing at 3:45pm. The location of pick up will be 15 Central Street located directly behind and to the right of The Hotel Salem and in front of Red's Sandwich Shop. Please arrive 5 minutes prior to ensure you make it on the shuttle. The shuttle will stay at Long Hill and return to Salem after the wedding. 2. Personal Vehicles. Parking at the venue is authorized only for the duration of the wedding, overnight parking is not permitted. The lot is a short walk from the ceremony area, and guests with accessibility requirements will be able to be dropped off closer to the seating area. 3. Ride a horse 4. Save a horse, ride a cowboy
Unfortunately there is no parking at the hotel. The hotel recommends parking in a nearby garage that is a short walk to the hotel. For guests with accessibility requirements, you can call the hotel ahead of time so they are able to accommodate your needs. We are moving from North Carolina to Montana in July (and continuing the move in August!) It's a very busy time with several cross-country trips, so we are using Catherine's parents' house as a temporary home base: 5 Richardson Court, Westborough, MA 01581. That is where RSVPs are addressed to be mailed as well.
The wedding is outdoors no matter what. In the case of rain, we will hold the ceremony in the same space as the reception, which is under a tent.
