Catania * Bustling baroque city at the foot of Etna. * Stroll through Via Etnea, visit Piazza Duomo, and explore the fish market. * Don’t miss: Underground Roman ruins and lava rock architecture. 3. Syracuse & Ortigia Island * Ancient coastal city with Greek roots and a stunning island old town. * Wander Ortigia’s alleys, visit the Duomo, and swim at the edge of the promenade. * Don’t miss: Aperol spritz at sunset in Piazza Duomo. We may extend our stay in Syracuse and do some fun activities after the wedding for who is interested, just let us know! 4. Mount Etna * Europe’s highest active volcano. * Guided jeep tours or cable car to the craters; lava caves and scenic hikes. 5. Noto * Baroque gem known for ornate palaces, churches * Quick stop on the way to southern beaches like Marzamemi.
