Like true millennials, we met on Bumble and quickly bonded over the love for our dogs, Astro and Heidi. Our first date was on July 1st, 2022, at Railway Heights Market, where we planned to enjoy the patio—until Houston’s weather had other plans! Luckily, we both agreed that air conditioning was the way to go. The rest, as they say, is history!

Ben proposed on Valentine’s Day 2025. I had a feeling it was coming and may have been slightly stressing about my outfit! As we hurried out the door for our Valentine’s dinner at Trattoria Sofia, Ben suddenly dropped to one knee and said the ring was ‘the perfect addition to my outfit.’ Of course, I said yes! We then celebrated over a wonderful dinner before sharing the exciting news with family and friends. - Katie
