It's Really Happening!!

What's the thing that guys do? Shoot hoops, hang with the fellows, talking to girls, and all that guy stuff . What about young ladies? Hang with her girls, go to the mall, talk about guys, talk to guys, after school activities, you know girl stuff. Ha, ha, ha in between the girl stuff and the guy stuff the two us connected. One lives in Trenton and the other one lives in Lawrenceville, so how did we connect? Krishna (Truitt) Powell, the cousin of the Bride - 1986. You'll get different versions but the core is she introduced us via the phone and after many phone conversations, I agreed to come to Trenton and meet him face-to-face. But there's safety in numbers, so I took my cousin Trae with me - can't give you all the details....LOL. After dating for a while we parted ways but remained the best of friends!! You know, sometimes when two people meet and begin to date, timing is off, situations arise, etc. so we re-evaluated things. After the paths of life, we reconnected - how? via Krishna once again at the wedding of Bill and Talaia Owens - 2015. Re-finding each other, reconnecting, rekindling, and starting fresh we decided that yes, timing was right. December 2016 - the beginning!!! We are the best of friends and accept the others flaws, we can communicate and laugh together. Perfect Power Team but something happened, we added a little person to the team on September 15th, 2017 and oh the world has truly changed. Truth be told she's the BOSS!! We're not going anywhere and that proved true January 2019 - the question was asked and answered...YES so now we're planning our wedding day which will be classy, fun, silly but most importantly - GREAT because you, our dear friends and family will be present; BLESSED because God is and will remain the center of our marriage, the 3rd but most important person in our marriage; and LOVED because your love and presence will serve as our reminder.
