Josh & Tika's Wedding Website

One day, back in Feb/March of 2016, Josh sent Tika a message on the dating app, Plenty of Fish. Little did he know, it was the same day she was going to delete the app. Tika opened the app that day to delete it, but she just had to check the message notifications. Lucky that she did. In her inbox was an extremely uniquely worded message. She was instantly intrigued, so she replied. That night, they talked for hours. They quickly became infatuated with each other, even before meeting. Tika was uneasy, afraid to open up again, but she went for it. On a beautiful day in April, she went over to Josh's where he cooked her a home cooked meal, played piano for her, and made her feel so special. That night was all it took. A few months later they moved in together and that was that. Josh & Tika's love has only grown stronger since that first encounter, and they are so over the moon to be spending the rest of their lives together. When Josh met Tika, he met his missing half, and he made Tika whole again.

Josh and Tika's 5 year anniversary was coming up, and it had been a hard year. Josh wanted to do something special for Tika. He surprised her one day, telling her that they were going to be going away for the weekend of their anniversary. Josh booked an Air B&B in Amish country, in a beautiful log cabin. Their two friends Caleb and Megan Sherwood came along for the weekend as well. Everyone but Tika knew what this weekend was really about, even the Air B&B lady knew what Josh had up his sleeve! Tika was clueless. They spent the evening getting delicious food at a local restaurant, and then playing adult card games at the cabin until midnight. At around 1am, Josh and Caleb pulled out their guitars, and Megan got out Josh's camera. Tika didn't think anything of it. Josh asked her to sing a song they had been singing together since the beginning of their relationship. They sang the song, and when they were done, Josh turned to Tika and said, "That was really great babe. Here, you deserve this," he presents the ring and says, "Will you Marry me?" Tika was shocked at first, she really had no idea what was going on. She quickly said, "Yes, of course!" Megan and Caleb clapped and hoorayed as Tika and Josh shared a kiss. It was a magical night, in a magical little cabin, with the greatest friends. Its a night that Tika and Josh will never forget.
