The attire is dressy casual. In other words, wear what makes you feel both fabulous and comfortable! Both the ceremony and reception will be outside on grass/dirt trails, so we recommend wearing comfortable shoes for such terrain. September weather can be up in the air. We suggest bringing clothes for all types of weather. Fingers-crossed the weather will be just right.
Our ceremony and reception will be taking place at Camp Greenwood. Weather permitting, our ceremony will be held out in the open air and our reception will be under an event tent. If we do experience inclement weather, we have plenty of access to other buildings throughout the camp to improvise.
Our ceremony starts at 3:30 pm. If you are staying at camp, feel free to arrive anytime after 11am. If you’re staying elsewhere, we suggest arriving 30-40 minutes before the start of the ceremony to make sure you get settled in before festivities begin.
Absolutely nothing! Staying at camp is on us! 💗
Depending on your camping experiences, this camp could be "rustic" to some. We like to call it semi-rustic. Here's what to expect: - Each bunkhouse comes with it's own bathroom and shower, as well as electricity. There is also a shower house and a public restroom on the grounds. - Almost all of the beds are twin-sized bunks. Each bunkhouse can sleep 10-14 people and will be more communal than private. - Cell service may be spotty in the area depending on your carrier.
If you plan on staying at Camp Greenwood, here is our recommended packing list: - Your sweet selves! - Bedding (sleeping bags, sheets, blankets, pillows, etc...). We will bring as many extras as we can just in case someone forgets or needs an extra! - Personal toiletries (medication, bathing supplies, toothbrush, etc...). We will provide toilet paper for each bunkhouse. - Towels & Bathing Suits - Flashlight/Head Lamp ( it gets pretty dark at night) - Phone chargers - Bluetooth speaker for tunes (just in case you want to boogie down while getting ready for the day) - Clothes for both Hot/Warm and Rainy/Cold weather - A good pair of walking shoes - Insect repellant and Sunscreen
