Cities to Stay In

Because of our location, many larger NC cities are less than an hour away from the hour venue! Giving you the opportunity to really decide how you want to spend your visit! Here are some of our favorite places: Saxapahaw: About 15-20 minutes away from the farm. We love spending an afternoon there by the river! Very crunchy, small downtown with good local food, and nearby some trails. Check out VRBO to find places to stay. Burlington: Closest city to the venue, a smaller town but still plenty of places to eat. No museums and a small downtown, but still a good choice! Greensboro: West of the venue, a larger city with LOTS to do. We recommend staying there especially if you are flying into the nearby Airport. Chapel Hill: A college town with a very nice downtown area. Downtown is right next to UNC's campus. Lots of cute stores. Durham: If you are looking for more nightlife we recommend Durham. Greensboro and Durham are the largest cities on this list. Durham is farther away from the venue but we love the bars and all there is to do there.

Burlington is a smaller town with not as much to do as some larger cities in the area, but downtown has a great coffee shop and there are TONS of restaurants. Perfect if you are looking for a more low-key location.

Right down the road from our apartment! We love how cute our downtown is with plenty of trails and restaurants within a five-minute drive from this hotel. Make sure to try out Cup-of-Joe, our favorite coffee shop!

The Colonial Inn

If you are looking for something a bit more upscale The Colonial Inn is very popular. It is right in downtown Hillsborough within walking distance of everything, but the highway is still accessible.
