Mitch planned the sweetest proposal I could ask for. He had purchased the ring back in August and was so excited to propose but wanted the timing to be perfect. He hid the ring in his golf bag because he knew I would never look in there. Mitch drove to Madison while I was at work one day to ask for my parents permission (so sweet!). He planned an entire trip to Door County in October for my birthday. All my friends thought he was going to propose but he hid it so well, I really didn't think he was going to. On Halloween, we had gone on a trolley tour of Door County in the morning and then that afternoon we went to Cave Point park. We were walking along the path with water spraying up on the rocks and it was so cool we stopped to look. I turned around and Mitch got down on one knee, said some wonderful things (I blacked out a little) and asked me to marry him. It was such an amazing moment :)
