We cannot drive personal vehicles up to Maroon Bells so our plan is to either ride the bus or ride bikes. We would like to take the 10:05 am bus from Aspen Highlands (tickets are $8 for adults). You can park up at Highlands or take the free Castle Maroon bus from outside of the Hotel Aspen or Rubey Park...leaves Rubey Park at 9:40 am. For more information, check out https://www.rfta.com/routes/maroon-bells/. Don't worry if you miss that bus because they run every 20 minutes. Penny will bring up breakfast snacks but don't forget to bring water! If you would like a beautify hike from Maroon Bells, check-out Crater Lake (http://www.protrails.com/trail/728/aspen-snowmass-crater-lake). Let Lindsay know if you want to ride up. The plan is to leave at about 9:00 am from The Francis' house (711 W Bleeker).

Ride the Silver Queen Gondola from 601 E Durant Ave up to the top of Aspen Mountain. Our recommendation is to ride up the gondola around 1:00pm or earlier so you have some time to check out the beautiful views and take pictures before the ceremony - you will definitely want to be on the gondola no later than 1:00pm. We will have Gondola tickets for you at the base of the Gondola. Please bring your ski pass if you have one. For the top of the mountain, we highly recommend you wear flat shoes that are easy to walk in and bring a jacket or sweater and an umbrella. It is at 11,212 ft and could be sunny or snowing!! Also, guests will be on a slightly sloped grassy area so please bring a bring a blanket or "camping" chair if you would like to sit.
4:00 pm
Hop on the RFTA free shuttles located a block down from the bottom of the gondola to Cemetery Lane and get off at Snowbunny Lane stop - Rachel and Mack's house is a half block down the street on the right.
