When is the RSVP deadline?

Deadline: October 1, 2019 To assist us greatly with planning, please RSVP as soon as possible.

What hotel will the wedding party be staying at?

Answer

The RIU Plaza New York Times Square Hotel. Rooms are available to our guests at a discounted rate.

Are there other hotel options?

Answer

Yes, there are several surrounding hotels in the vicinity of the wedding ceremony. Prices will invariably increase as the time nears because of the Christmas shopping rush so book early.

What is the dress code for the wedding?

Answer

Please come in cocktail/formal attire appropriate for December weather. The official colors for the bridal party will be Burgundy and Gold, but you are welcome to wear any colors you like. Nigerian weddings are always a vibrant and festive fanfare of colors, so dress to impress ;)

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

This will be a "unplugged" ceremony i.e. kindly avoid all flash photography or uncles with giant iPads standing up in the aisle. After the ceremony, selfies and insta-worthy photos are welcomed and encouraged. We are excited to have Jide Alakija Photography covering our wedding....he is incredibly skilled and amazing at what he does. These pictures will be made available to you in the near future.

Can I bring my friends and family?

Answer

We plan to have an intimate ceremony in a small historic church. Therefore, you may only bring a plus one if this is specified in your invitation e.g. "Mr Smith and guest".

Can we bring our kids?

Answer

We love your kids! Truly. However, we respectfully request that this be an adults-only affair.

Can we bring gifts?

Answer

All gifts are welcome and we thank you in advance! However, we suggest going through our online registry which offers the convenience of holding on to all gift items until we are ready to ship to our new home. Financial gifts can also be given through this registry.

Who do I call if I miss my flight, can't find the venue, or have any other wedding related questions?
