Pedro and Martha met during their fall semester of junior year. On a fateful September morning, many “Painting: Structure” students struggled setting up their wooden easels (likely not opened for generations) on the lawn. It was here that Pedro first noticed Martha as she flailed her easel around and ultimately cut her hand in the effort. Both were shy to start up a conversation. However, with the help of mutual friends, the two eventually introduced and quickly became inseparable. Lots of hiking, painting, playing music, eating frozen yogurt and terrible cafeteria food later, the pair graduated still together. And the rest is history!
