It was a few days before thanksgiving and we were up visiting Rick's family in Michigan. We had just driven up north to his aunts cottage in Bellaire when she whisked me away to the grocery store. Clever! When we were on our way back to the cottage, snow began to fall for the first time! Once we arrived, Rick rushed me outside and told me to close my eyes. I truly thought he was going to show me that it was snowing. I opened my eyes and saw the most handsome man down on his knee with the most beautiful ring. Y'all know the answer! String lights and candles lit the porch as snow fell in the background. It was so romantic and a day I will never forget!!! Thanks to everyone who helped him pull it off <3

We met around seven or eight years ago through mutual friends while we were both attending Florida State University. It was not until a couple of years down the road that we reconnected, but this time was soooo different. Unexplainable really. Long story short, Rick valeted my car for an event and the rest is history!
