We are getting married!

We met at a Christmas sleigh ride party at Confusion Corner Bar & Grill. It was a last minute decision for the both of us but it turned out to be a fateful one. We spent the night laughing together and dancing and something just clicked. Call it a Christmas miracle. We have been inseparable ever since!

On my thirty-third birthday Matt surprised me with a trip to Sparkling Hill Resort in Kelowna. We spent the afternoon touring wineries and topped it off with a bottle of champagne on the balcony of our hotel room. I was watching the sunset while my favourite song, Happy Birthday by John Legend, played in the background. Suddenly, I looked over and he was down on one knee. I screamed, shouted "YES," and we were engaged. We are so excited to celebrate this next chapter of our lives with you!
