Who would have thought that one dinner in a small town in Connecticut would turn into a fairy tale. Jessica and Martavious met in Colchester Connecticut back in Feburary of 2017. Neither of them were looking for anything serious at the time but knew that a date wouldn't hurt. They sat in a small pizzera and talked and laughed for 2 hours straight. The connection was obvious and strong and it was the start to something amazing. Since the beginning they have moved in together, adopted their puppy Myra, and survived a deployment. They are super excited to start the next chapter together in New Hampshire and the next stage of their life.

It was a day like no other. Jessica was under the impression that they were taking a weekend trip to Portsmouth NH to look at places to move to in the fall. Little did she know that it was all a set up leading to the happiest day of her life. The weekend started off with them staying in a suite in one of the best hotels in the area. When they awoke the next morning they were off on their Helicopter ride over NH; just the two of them. The views were amazing and the pilot was great, showing the beaches, lighthouses and all other attractions along the shore. When they landed Martavious plotted with the pilot and owner to record the moment. Before Jessica knew it he was on one knee asking for her hand in marriage. She of course said yes. It was then that they headed off to a nice dinner and then a night on the town.
