Walk across the bridge to the old town, where you’ll find winding cobblestone streets, beautiful churches, and incredible sea views. Stop by the fish market near the harbour—it’s a lively scene and the perfect place to see local life in action. If you’re looking for dinner with a view, Gallipoli has some fantastic rooftop restaurants that overlook the sea.
52 minutes drive from Masseria Samenti - (56 KM) Lecce is the city where art, history, and food come together. We love wandering through the stunning Piazza del Duomo at sunset when the Baroque buildings glow in the golden light. Treat yourself to a pasticciotto—it’s one of Marta’s favourite desserts! If you have time, check out the Roman Amphitheatre in the city centre. It’s a fascinating glimpse into Lecce’s ancient history.
