We met at a friend's party. At the moment, Kyle was with someone he was dating. Marta was invited with the intentions of being setup with a kid named Mike. Well Mike was not socially interactive with anyone, he was enjoying his cell phone and games. Luckily for Marta, Kyle noticed her and tried his best to keep her company. (Thanks Mike for liking bejeweled more than me!!!) She thought he was so sweet and funny. They remained friends after that and remained in contact through texts, calls, and Facebook. About a year later, Kyle had revealed he was single and he would love to take out Marta on a date. Then one night Kyle and Marta met at the local movie theater to see "Dear John" they wanted to keep the night going so they drove around local shoreline areas and ended up chatting for an hour or so at Cozy Beach. In weeks following the first date, Marta and Kyle had began to frequently go on more dates. Then on a lovely Spring day in March, Kyle and Marta got some iced tea and went to the Guilford Town Docks. It was there that Kyle decided to ask Marta to be his girlfriend. The rest is history! #LoveWins

We were traveling to Europe the summer of 2019. We were visiting Poland where my family lives. Later in the trip we'd go visit Prague. One night while on a lovely date night in Poznan (the city where Marta's dad's family lives) we went to to a lovely dinner and took an uber to to our favorite restaurant in the old town square. As we walked out, the square was empty because a rain shower had just passed. Kyle went down on one knee near a famous clocktower and asked me if I'd marry him. It was beautiful we both cried and hugged and kissed and he even let me shout "I'm engaged" like Monica from Friends. Best night ever!!!!!
