Adolfo Suárez Madrid Barajas Airport

There is only one airport in Madrid, so we recommend flying into Adolfo Suarez, Madrid Barajas Airport (MAD). There are numerous daily flights that operate from differing UK airports. If unsure about any flight details, then feel free to reach out to us for advice.

Travel From Madrid Airport

Madrid airport is approximately 25 minutes from downtown Madrid (without traffic). There are different transport options to get into the city, however, we would recommend taking a local taxi. The taxi rank is located outside the front of all terminals and operates on a fixed rate of 30€ to Madrid city centre. They are clean, safe and will very likely know all of the hotels / accommodations in the city. Uber also operates and is a reliable option. The App will tell you where to be picked up from depending on which terminal you arrive into. The Metro is also another alternative. There is a direct line from the airport into Nuevos Ministerios metro station. You would need to purchase a Madrid Metro Card in order to ride, this can be picked up from the main ticket machines.
