We're getting married!

In this day and age, it should come as no surprise that we met on Tinder. For those of you (perhaps the older generation) who don't know what Tinder is, well, it is an online dating app. Kaitlin, who is very traditional at heart, took a while to come around to flaunting this version of how we met. But here we are! Kaitlin came to Charlottesville to meet Cole, who took her to Carter Mountain for their first date. Carter Mountain would come to be a very special place for Kaitlin and Cole.

After three and a half years together, Cole decided it was time to take the next step. After asking Kaitlin's dad for permission (many months before the actual engagement), Cole took her up to Carter Mountain where he got down on one knee in front of that beautiful view! She said, "a thousand times yes!"

We are so excited to be able to solidify our marriage at the place that means so much to us, Carter Mountain! We can't wait to show this special place to the people most important to us and celebrate with a night to remember.
