Please RSVP online by May 1st, 2025. We have to send final numbers to our vendors by this date, therefore we cannot accept RSVPs after this time. If we do not receive an RSVP by May 1st, your invite will be marked as “cannot attend” and we will miss celebrating with you!
Please arrive at St. Mary's Catholic Church by 2:00 PM (30 minutes before the start of the ceremony). This will allow guests to be seated and the ceremony to begin on time. Any guests that arrive after the ceremony has begun will not be able to enter the church and will instead be asked to join us at the reception afterwards.
Please wear semi-formal attire such as a cocktail-length dress, mid-calf to ankle/floor length, or dressy separates for women. Please no short dresses. For men, we request they wear a suit jacket or tie along with slacks or dress pants. We ask that you do not wear blue jeans, cargo pants, or sneakers.
Unfortunately, due to budget and space limitations, we simply cannot afford for all of our guests to bring a date/or guest of their own. Therefore, we ask our guests to please not bring a plus one, unless they are specifically named on the invitation. Thank you so much for understanding.
Due to space and budget constraints, we are only inviting guests aged 21+. All invited guests will be specifically designated on the invitation, therefore, we cannot accommodate anyone not listed. We hope you understand, and can enjoy a short trip away from your kids :)
We want to make sure each of our guests is able to enjoy our menu selection. Please let us know when you RSVP if you have any dietary restrictions or food allergies. Grace, if this is you asking, sorry, you're going hungry.
We will be serving a selection of beer and wine. Unfortunately, our venue has a 'no alcohol sales' policy so all alcohol will be on the bride & groom's budget. While we WISH we could have a fully open bar all evening, our bank accounts can't. Therefore, all alcohol will be pre-paid and once the amount paid for is gone, there will be no more alcohol served.
We kindly ask that you avoid colors traditionally reserved for the bride – whites, ivories, and creams. Evan requests no neon colors or bright reds. If you are concerned about what you want to wear, feel free to send a picture to Emma or Evan for guidance.
We are having an "unplugged" ceremony. This means we are asking that all phones and cameras are put away and turned off/to silent during the ceremony. We have hired a professional photographer to capture some of our most important moments and we'd hate to have someone's phone or camera blocking that moment. During the reception, feel free to take as many photos as you like, in fact, we encourage it!
To ensure ample travel time, there is a two hour window between the conclusion of the ceremony and the start of the reception. Our reception venue is a botanical garden and arboretum in the foothills of the Wasatch Mountain Range. They have waived the entrance fee for all of our guests. We invite you to come wander the gardens early, soak in the gorgeous views, and stop to smell the roses :) Additionally, the Natural History Museum of Utah is right next door and will be open for visiting! If you’d like to take in the scenic views of the Wasatch Mountain Range, we recommend driving from Park City to Brighton via Guardsman Pass. It will add a bit of extra time to your trip, but you can’t miss the views! Please feel free to spend this time resting and relaxing however you prefer to prepare to dance the night away later!
Our ceremony is indoors. Our reception is indoors with the DJ and dance floor outside on the patio. If it happens to rain, we do have an indoor location to move the dance floor to.
Weather in Salt Lake City this time of year ranges from mid-70s to low 80s but can get into the 90s. Dress appropriately and be prepared with a jacket or sweater as it will get chillier in the evening. In general, there are very few days of rain during June, but check the weather before coming in case it is forecasted. The church and reception venue are located on the mountainside and can get cooler as the night progresses due to increased elevation. The UV index can be quite high during the day, so keep sunscreen on you to reapply as needed!
Yes! Both the church and the reception venue have ample parking space.
The church is in Park City, UT. Park City is about 30 minutes from the venue so we do recommend having a car to get to and from the ceremony. If guests choose, they could also share Ubers or Lyfts but this may be an expensive option due to the distance. There is a decent public transport system in Salt Lake City so if you need to get to your hotel from the airport you can use the Utah Transit Authority TRAX system. They have very reasonable fares, such as $5 for a day pass. Do know this system does not go to the Church or the Venue, so don't rely on TRAX for that. We also recommend making this a longer trip! Utah is the perfect destination for an early summer vacation. Having a car might allow you to travel outside of the city to see Utah's 5 national parks, the Bonneville salt flats, and more!
Yes! Please check out our 'Things To-Do' tab. If you need further recommendations for things to do in the area, or places to eat, drink, etc. please let us know and we'd be happy to give you our recommendations!
