A Black Love Story

Rakim and Marsheika met early 2012 in California before their deployment to Helmand Province, Afghanistan. During their year deployment they became very close and started dating. Once they returned to United States they continued their relationship and became inseparable. On April 20, 2014, they welcomed a 6 lbs 6.7 oz baby boy named Camren Henderson. Seven years later, Rakim decided to take the long term relationship a step further, by getting down on one knee and popping the question, “Would you marry me?”
