Brianna Sawyer and Zach Marshall met the very modern way: Facebook Dating. What started as a few after-work Subway dates (yes, that Subway) and long drives down country roads slowly turned into something neither of us expected—but both of us were hoping for. By July 28th, 2022, it was official. Somewhere between laughing in the car, sharing snacks, and realizing we never ran out of things to talk about, feelings got real. Zach quickly introduced Bree to one of his greatest loves: Carolina Hurricanes hockey. He took her to her very first NHL game, and she was instantly hooked—turns out yelling at the TV and planning game nights is a core personality trait now. Not long after, Ember—our dog—joined the family and quickly became the boss of the household. Whether she’s tagging along on adventures or keeping us laughing at home, life wouldn’t be the same without her. When we’re not watching hockey, you can usually find us escaping to the mountains, spending time with family and friends, or joking around way more than necessary. Life together is full of laughs, inside jokes, and a lot of love—and we wouldn’t have it any other way. We can’t wait to celebrate with all of you and start our next adventure together.
