Flying into Orlando (MCO) is the closest option
No! A chartered bus will bring guests to EPCOT to go to the reception from the ceremony. The bus will bring guests back at the top of each hour if they wish to leave the reception early.
Shuttle service from MCO to Disney World resorts and many Disney Springs Hotels can be booked here: https://www.mearsconnect.com/ Other options are Cast and Crew Transportation, and We Drive You Fly, These are private transportation options and offer more direct service. We were quoted $75 one way for 5 people for our September 2022 trip. They pick up and drop off directly at your hotel whereas Mears is shared service. Uber and Lyft are available on Level 3 at MCO
Park at the Grand Floridian Resort Wedding Pavilion if you plan on renting a car. Otherwise Uber or Lyft are your best options. A chartered bus will bring you back to any Disney Resort or Disney Springs Hotel after the reception.
From a Disney Resort, the free option is to take a bus to Magic Kingdom and either walk or take the Monorail to the Grand Floridian then to the Wedding Pavilion. From a Disney Springs Area Hotel, if they provide shuttle service to Magic Kingdom, follow the steps above. Uber and Lyft are great options as well! A chartered bus is required to take the wedding guests to EPCOT after the ceremony. The bus will bring you back to the Grand Floridian or any Disney Resort/ Disney Springs area hotel.
Disney gift cards can be used for ANYTHING at Disney World including hotel, park tickets, food and souvenirs. If you have a Target Red Card, you can get 5% off gift cards. (HINT: We do this for Southwest Gift Cards as well!)
Yes! You can get $20 off a Park Hopper ticket through the website link on our travel page! Pay for it with a gift card bought at Target using your Red Card and save even more!
There are a ton of things to do while visiting Walt Disney World without stepping foot inside a park! Shop, dine and enjoy entertainment at Disney Springs, go resort hopping, walk the boardwalk at Disney's Boardwalk Resort-there's lots to see and do there! Go resort hopping! Meet in front of Hollywood Studios-We'll meet near the lake that's right in front at 7pm.
Orlando in May can be hot but not surface of the sun hot. It is humid there. If you'd like, bring a small hand held fan :)
Both the ceremony and reception are outdoors. There are backup venues in case of rain.
You can RSVP on this website or mail in the postcard sent with your invitation!
We are asking to have your responses in by February 1, 2023 as we need to give this information to Disney. You can RSVP anytime before then-even before the formal invitation comes out in January.
Yes! Please click on the schedule page to see the other planned events. Be sure to RSVP if you are attending those!
Feel free to ask Christina with any questions you may have including Park Reservations that are required for entry into the parks other than any Wedding events, adding and using Genie+ which is the new Fastpass system, dining reservations, transportation and anything else!

The best YouTube Channels are Touring Plans and TheDis. They have videos on almost everything you could have questions on!
We plan on mailing formal invitations sometime in January.
We will be staying at the Riviera Resort (we have DVC points to use!) right next to the Caribbean Beach Resort and a Skyliner ride away from POP Century.
We plan on flying in on Wednesday, May 3rd and departing Monday, May 8th.
While we would love for everyone to join us on our magical weekend, we completely understand that not everyone can make it. If you’d like to provide a gift please visit our wedding registry page!
The answer to both is as soon as possible! WDW is very popular and rooms go quickly or at least the good rates do. Once you buy your theme park tickets (if doing so), make your park reservations ASAP! You do not need tickets to attend the wedding!
We plan on being at Hollywood Studios May 3rd, Magic Kingdom May 4th, EPCOT the morning of May 5th, and Magic Kingdom again May 7th! You're free to join us any of those days!
Reservations open up 60 days before your arrival date at 6am ET. These can be done online or WDW app. Both require to set up an account.
Comfy shoes, umbrellas, neck fans (on Amazon and a life saver). water, battery charger for your phone, sunscreen.
After you download the Walt Disney World app, create an account. From here you can buy a daily package that expedites your place in line for rides. Yes, it costs extra per person but take it from us: IT'S WORTH IT! We budget this into all our trips. Beginning at 7am, you can make your first Lightening Lane reservation for a ride. Then you can make another one 2 hours later OR after you use your first pass.
You don't need to but the convenience and fun is there. You can use it to get into parks, unlock your Disney resort room, pay for things, and for Lightening Lane. Otherwise you'll be given a plastic card to do all the above except pay for things.
