FAQs

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes! Formal attire is requested. Suits and formal dresses or gowns are preferred. Both the ceremony and reception will be outdoors, so we recommend choosing something dressy yet comfortable for warm weather. Please note: this is not a black-tie event—tuxedos are not expected!

Question

Is there a dress code for the welcome party?

Answer

Dressy casual attire is requested! This may include button-down shirts with khakis or slacks, optionally paired with a sport coat, as well as sundresses, jumpsuits, dressy separates, or cocktail dresses.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is a parking lot located directly behind The Gadsden House with approximately 60 spots. Additional parking can be found nearby at the Gaillard Center Parking Garage. If you plan on drinking, we strongly encourage using a ride share app or designated driver so everyone can celebrate safely!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please plan to arrive by 4:30 PM to allow time for parking and seating before the ceremony begins promptly at 5:00 PM! Entry to the ceremony will be closed at 4:55 PM, and no late entry will be permitted.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

As much as we’d love to celebrate with everyone, our venue has limited space. If your invitation includes a plus one, it will be indicated. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Yes! You can find all the details about our registry under the "Registry" tab right here on our website.

Question

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We love our photographer and you will too! We kindly request that you leave all cell phones and cameras in your purse or pocket during the ceremony. Once it's time to celebrate, please feel free to take as many photos as you'd like!
