Yes! Check out the After Party tab for more details about our Boston after party on April 8, 2023! We also love having one-on-one time with friends and family, so if you have a hankering to visit us the DC area we'd love to host you.

Why does your registry say you’re getting married on April 8, 2023?

Answer

That's the date of our after party (and first anniversary)...and also because Zola won't let us put our actual wedding date since it's already past. Sorry for any confusion!

Who was your photographer and videographer?

Answer

Amy of Aimlee Photography was our photographer (digital as well as 35mm film) and our Super 8 videographer. She also was our hype woman who helped us navigate our wedding and we couldn't have done it without her. Oh, and she's the co-owner of the Sure Thing Wedding Chapel. Basically, she's Superwoman. Unfortunately not. It was an add-on that we chose through the Sure Thing chapel and we got to pose in it (with Elvis) but did not drive it.

Where did you get your rings?

Answer

Andrea's rings are from Envero. The engagement ring is a Montana sapphire, so it's ethically sourced from the US. The gold in both her engagement and wedding rings are recycled. How did you incorporate loved ones into your elopement?

Answer

Even though we eloped in private, we felt so much love for our friends and family who have supported us over the last decade. Without you, we wouldn't have gotten to where we are today. Here are a few touches that allowed us to keep loved ones close on our wedding day: Andrea wore a necklace from her paternal great-grandmother, June, and earrings from her maternal step-grandmother Dolly. She also carried a beaded purse that contained a gold and silver heart-shaped cowgirl belt buckle and a cameo broach, all of which were Dolly's. In this way, we kept Andrea's maternal Oklahoma lineage with us. We decided to include 35mm film, a nod to Andrea's photographer father, Ben.
