Yes! If you want a ride to and from the ceremony & dinner venue (the foothills of the Sandia Mountains about 20-25 min from downtown Albuquerque), you can meet at the Albuquerque Press Club (our reception venue and very close to hotels/lodging) at 3:30. The bus will take everyone back to the reception venue after dinner. You can also drive to the ceremony, but parking will be limited.
We'll dress up, and invite you to do the same! Most importantly though, the ceremony and dinner is outdoors and the sun will set around dinner time. We strongly encourage everyone to bring a layer, as the temperature could dip quickly once the sun sets. Wear what you'll be comfortable in!
Our ceremony and dinner will be in the foothills of the mountains, and the reception will be in doors.
We'd LOVE children to attend the ceremony and dinner, but the reception is essentially at a dive bar and will be adults only.
No hotel block! The reception is located at the Albuquerque Press Club, right off Route 66 and in between the University of New Mexico and downtown Albuquerque. There are many hotels nearby at a variety of price points- more information in the "travel tab" about options within a short walking distance of our reception venue. There are also lots of Airbnbs nearby!
It should be nice weather! In late October, its typically sunny and dry, with highs in the 60s and 70s and overnight lows in the 40s.
We'll have a rehearsal dinner for family at High & Dry Brewery Friday, Oct. 24 at 6:30. We invite everyone to come by later that evening for drinks and a great food truck, Tikka Spice. On Sunday, we'll have a goodbye breakfast (location TBD) for everyone who can join.
Definitely! Our wedding dinner will have vegetarian, vegan, gluten free, and dairy free options. We'll ask for any special dietary restrictions in our RSVP.
