Marshall and Gill had their first date at The Workman's Friend in Plaza Midwood. After surprisingly pleasant conversation and a few drinks, they migrated to the rooftop bar at Peculiar Rabbit (RIP). They bonded over their mutual love of arcade games--especially the claw game. Thanks to Gill's many attempts, Marshall went home with several stuffed animals to give to her dog, Conroy. Some of their early dates included nights out at Science on the Rocks in Uptown, Lucky's Arcade, Charlotte sporting events, and rooftop bars overlooking the city.
