We Got Married!!

In the Spring of 2019, Kayla moved into a college house with 5 other girls, where across the street, Marshall had been living with his 4 roommates. They hung out quite often and became great friends, finally making a deeper connection on Marshall's last night in CO, but they knew that the time wasn't right just yet.

After 2 years of living in Oregon, Kayla came back to her hometown in 2022 and started working at the golf course, Battlement Mesa. While working for his dad, Marshall took a route to Grand Junction, stopping in Parachute for a round on the way home. They saw each other, shared a hug and yes, sparks flew. Shortly after, on August 25th 2022, Marshall and Kayla became official! From then on out, they would drive over the mountain to see one another until Kayla moved to Aurora with Marshall early in 2023.

During a typical weekend visiting the Holbrook family, out golfing Battlement, having a wonderful time. When Kayla's favorite hole came up, number 4, she tee'd off and turned around to the best surprise of her life. Marshall was on one knee, asking her to marry him, and of course, she said yes!

In the snowy mountains of Fairplay, CO, Marshall and Kayla eloped in front of a few close friends and family. The small, intimate ceremony was put on by Cole Williams, who married the two, and the rest of the day was spent celebrating the beautiful new couple.
