We're getting married!!

It all started on the floor we worked on at the hospital. I was a new RN and Joaquin had been there awhile, and was known as everybody's brother because he was so helpful, from getting patients out of bed to giving meds or changing your empty IV fluids. At the end of one of our shifts, he came up to me and asked, "Do you workout?" I was surprised he approached me!! So we started going to the gym after work (I only did for him because after a 12.5 hours shift, I just wanted to go home and sleep) and started talking about so many things. Through all the gym sessions, working together, we realized our feelings grew for each other.

We love going back to San Francisco whenever we have the chance because it's where declared his love for me back in 2018. On 08-08-2021, he asked me to wear something black and something blue, wake up at the break of dawn, do my hair and make up. We drove up to this hill, hiked a little bit (we love hiking!), got lost a little bit, found our way and that's when Joaquin got down on one knee and asked me to marry him! My heart is filled with so much joy and love.
