What should I wear?

Answer

Cocktail Attire. Summer in Chicago can be very hot/humid, so wear something breathable! *A fun option: Our wedding colors will be jewel tones (think ruby reds, emerald greens, sapphire blues, and mustard golds). As we will be skipping bridal parties, you are welcome to wear your most bold/colorful outfit to join in on the fun.

Can I bring a date/friend/sibling/child/cousin/neighbor?

Answer

We are planning for an intimate celebration with our closest friends and family and cannot accommodate extra guests, but we will be sure to seat you with people you know and love.

What Neighborhood Should I Stay In?

Answer

Closest to the Wedding ($$-$$$) - Gold Coast - River North - Streeterville - West or South Loop - Downtown For a local experience: ($-$$) - Lincoln Park - Old Town - Lakeview - Wicker Park/Bucktown *We recommend staying long the Red/Blue line train stops to be closest to the wedding and attractions

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Although we love your children, we regretfully cannot accommodate them at the venue due to restricted numbers. We thank you for your understanding.

I have a food allergy/dietary restriction, can I make a special request?

Answer

We will do our best to accommodate (we are keeping our vegan/gluten free guests in mind). If you have any additional requests, please let us know ASAP.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We have an amazing and very expensive photographer capturing the day. We ask that you put away your phones for the ceremony. We will be taking a group photo after the ceremony which all the guests will have access to.

Can I bring a gift to the wedding?

Answer

Your presence is present enough. However, as we will be flying into Chicago for the wedding, we kindly ask that all gifts be sent through our registry or mailed directly to us. Cash is always welcome though :)

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will take place on the rooftop garden of the venue. The reception and cocktail hour will take place indoors.

What type of food/drinks will be served during cocktail hour/the reception?

Answer

We will be serving light passed hors d'oeuvres during cocktail hour, followed by a three-course plated dinner and dessert. There will be an open bar and champagne toast. We ask that you have your dinner options in by April 30th. Please see RSVP section for more details

What health and safety measures will you be taking during the event?

Answer

Our wedding will follow the city of Chicago and the CDC's guidelines to keep everyone safe. Masks are strongly encouraged if you are unvaccinated.
