What is the timeline for the day-of your wedding?

How big will your event be?

Answer

It won't be a big wedding. Our wedding is a micro-wedding for a reason! We wanted something intimate, but straightforward. Only our closest family and friends will be part of this micro-wedding. We have a minimum of 50 guests allowed to attend per our contract with Marry Me Cottage. So, if you have a plus one, please let us know incase there is still guest space available!

Will you have the ceremony and reception in the same venue?

Answer

YES! We are against doing a lot of traveling for our wedding day and prefer to keep it all in one place. The ceremony and reception will be in the same location. There will also be lawns games that will be accessible throughout our reception, as well as some board and card games.

What is the “theme” for your wedding?

Answer

Our vision is a Lord of the Rings / Woodland vibe. The venue we chose fit the rustic/garden-type aesthetic setting we were looking for. Sunflowers will also be a recurring theme. We are beyond excited! The area is mostly made out of grass, gravel, and dirt paths. So please dress appropriately for the occasion.

What type of bar and food will you have available?

Answer

We will have an open bar with The Tipsy Pony and Patty’s Catering Service. We will have gluten free options available as well. The menu for the wedding is the following: Toasted Ravioli with Marinara Sauce Mostacciolli with Meat Sauce Honey Ham in pineapple glaze House Italian Salad Bow tie pasta Alfredo Roast of Beef in Au Jus Potato salad, Relish tray, Fruit Salad Assorted Cheese Platter Sliced Bakery Bread Please be sure to bring cash to tip our bartender.

What attire should I wear?

Answer

This is a micro-wedding but we still want it to be fabulous like envisioned. Please wear semi-formal attire for the night and comfortable shoes since you will be walking in a garden/rocky type area!

What type of music will be at the venue?

Answer

Great question! We are leaning towards making a playlist for our reception music. If you have a song suggestion that you would like played on our wedding day, be sure to reach out to us!

Answer

Please be sure to RSVP with us by the end of September! You can contact Mike, or myself to RSVP for our wedding! You can also RSVP with us on our website. If you are invited to our wedding, you will receive a link that refers you to our website for any questions, information, RSVP, guest listing, etc. You can always come back to view our site for up-to-date information!

What if we can’t make it?

It’s a shame to not have you with us, but we completely understand. Stuff comes out of the wood works sometimes. It’s okay! We love you and appreciate you all the same. We promise to share our pictures and videos of our special day 💜 Just be sure to let us know that you cannot make it!
