On a trip to Atlanta from Los Angeles, Madison was casually swiping on the dating app Bumble and came across a handsome man who she swiped right on. That handsome man turned out to be Greg (surprise), and it was a match! Over the next month, Madison and Greg began to text and facetime, learning more about each other and realizing many of their values aligned. Madison then took a risk and booked a last-minute flight to Atlanta for their first date. Greg picked Madison up and they went to Shake Shack (nothing like being super nervous and eating a messy hamburger) for their first stop of the night. As the date continued, Madison began to realize that what they had was something special and unlike anything she had experienced before. And Greg was just enjoying his night 😂 They spent the rest of the weekend together and then Madison flew back to LA. Over the next 8 months, their relationship grew strong with a foundation of communication and Christ. Madison moved to Atlanta in May of 2020 (hi COVID) and they began to mesh their lives together and learn what it was like to live in the same city. For the next 2 years, they continued learning about each other's strengths and weaknesses, attributes, and flaws and began to think about what the future would look like together. On May 28th, 2022 Greg told Madison that he loved her for the first time and asked her to marry him. She said yes (surprise again) and now we get to celebrate!
