The dress code for our wedding is formal/cocktail attire
Our ceremony will be outdoors on the Lake House deck (weather permitting), and our reception will be inside the Lake House immediately following the ceremony. There will be deck access available during the reception to take in the views, as well as fire pits and seating areas available on the deck as well.
Due to space constraints, unfortunately we are only able to have the amount of guests addressed on your invitation.
Due to the way in which Owl's Nest Resort is set up with a variety of accommodation types, we do not have a room block for all guests, but rooms are available for you to book directly on the Owl's Nest website 9 months prior to the wedding (12/21/23).
If you are staying at an Owl's Nest owned accommodation, there will be a shuttle that will drive around about 30 minutes before the ceremony that will pick you up to drive you over to our venue (the Lake House). All that you have to do to get picked up is stand outside of your building! You also can walk to the Lake House, but in wedding attire, the shuttle or your car may be best. There is a main parking lot in the middle of the resort that you can also park at for the duration of the weekend, or to leave your car in for the wedding night, as the walk from the main parking lot to the Lake House is about a 1-2 minute walk. (Once parked in the parking lot, proceed to the Sports Nest. If you are facing the Sports Nest, to the right is a deck with a path down to the pickle ball and tennis courts, follow this path past the courts, and you will see the Lake House)
