" Tinder? I hardly know her? " Jacob had just moved back home to Las Vegas, and little did he know the love of his life would move in around the corner from his childhood home. Amanda had just moved from Dallas to pursue her career and passion for interior design. Jacob worked long hours to start his career, and Amanda was learning how to live in her new home town. They both knew that online dating would be a haven for finding what they were looking for. Shortly after beginning their search, they matched on Tinder. Jacob saw a gorgeous career driven woman...with a dog. Amanda saw a handsome, local, charming man... with allergies to dogs. After one failed attempt, Jacob reach out again to go bowling. Amanda, reluctantly, accepted. Upon arrival to the casino/bowling alley, Amanda was lost. She reached out to Jacob, asking for help finding the bowling alley. He responded with, "Just yell my name." This was Amanda's first taste of Jacob's humor, and she was intrigued to hear more. When she finally arrived, Jacob was stunned, she even brought her own bowling bag - shoes and all. After that date, they both knew they had something special.
Prelude Jacob, being the messy person he is, was finding it challenging to pack for their upcoming trip to Spain. Amanda went to help him, only to find a ring box at the bottom of his bag. They both froze. Pure shock shot across both their faces. Quickly, Jacob said, "Open the box." A smug look spread across his face. Amanda opened the box, only to find disappointment. There was no ring (it was hidden elsewhere). "Don't worry, its not happening while we are in Spain," he said. Seville, Spain Night 4 of 7 Amanda, Jacob, and their good friend Andrew are walking to dinner. Jacob has convinced Amanda that they are heading to Andrew's favorite restaurant along the water. As they continued down the river Amanda became worried; Jacob's hands were shaking and nobody was talking. The three continued on in silence until Andrew suggested they take a picture by the river. At that point Jacob's nerves spiked, he got down on one knee, and forgot the entire speech he planned.....And yet, she still said yes. Jacob stood, while his new fiance embraced him. After the two kissed, a bottle of champagne was popped. Another friend had been following behind to surprise the happy couple. Congratulatory drinks were shared. Amanda and Jacob then sat by the river, and basked in the pure joy they felt in that moment.
