Are kids welcome?

Answer

We know many of you have small children and although we love them, we are keeping this an adult only event. Only the children in our wedding party will be included for the event. We thank you for understanding and hope you are able to accommodate a kid-free evening to celebrate with us!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Semi-formal/cocktail attire is preferred!

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

As long as the weather cooperates the ceremony and cocktail hour are set to take place outdoors, while the reception space is indoors! If the weather is not great, the venue has indoor accommodations for the whole event! Keep in mind that our wedding is in October, so it may be a little chilly, but let's all hope for a perfectly warm fall day!

Can I bring a date?

Due to space and guest limitations, we kindly ask that you refrain from bringing additional guests unless specifically mentioned on the invitation. Thank you for understanding!

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes! We have rooms reserved at the Home2 Suites Smithfield! See the travel tab for more information.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes! We will be providing transportation from the hotel to the venue, as well as back to the hotel after the wedding!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! There is plenty of parking on-site!

I have a food restriction; can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes! If you have any food allergies or restrictions, the venue is happy to accommodate a separate meal for you! Please just let us know as soon as possible so we can make sure our venue team is in the loop on your needs.

What are the meal options?

Answer

The options for dinner will be steak tips, chicken piccata, mashed potatoes, veggies and salad! Dinner is served buffet style and you can choose one protein or both! Anyone with a dietary restriction that we’ve been made aware of will receive a vegetable stir fry!
