We met at Jeremy's first gig at the A&J's Wasted Space hosted by the band We Make Noise which is made up of band members Matt Hays and Mike Jones, whom are friends of us both. I noticed him immediately from across the bar and in my drunken stupor I told my cousin Kelsey just what was on my mind. Basically, I thought he was gorgeous. So he gets on stage and I am enamored at his performance. Next thing I know he approaches me and we had an hour long conversation to which I could tell you nothing about. He stuck with me, in my mind though because he never mentioned the wheelchair. You all know, the one I am in ALL of the time. To me that really said something about him. I guess something about me stuck with him also. The next day he asked his good friend, Matt Hays, " hey what was the girl in the wheelchairs name again." And the rest is kind of history.... kind of.... By the time he tracked me down I had some loser of a bf I can't even honestly remember much about but Jeremy didn't give up on me. It started with just sending funny memes back and forth. They made me smile and feel like I was noticed in the world when I was in a place in life which I was not very happy. In May of 2016 I found myself finally single and free again. I went to Marshall to hang out with some friends and Jeremy popped up on my Facebook "People Nearby", so I hit him up. He was busy getting a tat so I didn't bother to text him back. I had him where I wanted him. If I heard from him, it was for real. If not, then so be it. Later that night after I got home I got a text. "Hey, did you need something earlier?" That turned into a 16 hr phone convo. Actually, we lived on the phone until I agreed to meet him for dinner on Wednesday. We agreed if the date went well I would spend the weekend. Don't tell him I told his secret, but he told me he loved me before the first date. And I feel head over wheels on the date. And as for that weekend, it turned into our forever and has brought all of you here!
