* Believe it or not, Caroline and James matched on a Christian dating app called Upward. Caroline had been on and off this app longer than she could care to remember. James, on the other hand, matched with Caroline within 24 hours. Their love story goes like this... James joined Upward on December 19th, 2024 He matched with Caroline within 1 day Started talking on the app within 2 days Started texting within 1 week (Caroline was confident he wasn't a serial killer) They had their first date within 9 days (A suggested coffee turned into a 4 hour dinner) James deleted all dating apps 2 days later (He wanted to do it before the ball dropped so he could leave dating apps behind in 2024. Coming into 2025, Caroline was "cautiously optimistic" about him, but James already knew she would be his) They spent every spare minute together over the next month talking for hours and hours at Panera, Starbucks, or any other public place they could be together for long periods of time, laughing, playing cards, or doing puzzles.
