FAQs

Question

What attire is appropriate?

Answer

The venue is on a farm with a rustic aesthetic. Fall Semi formal attire. Earth tones are highly encouraged: Side note for ladies: There is a lot of grass and gravel so stilettos are not recommended.

Question

Are alcoholic beverages going to be served?

Answer

Although wine and beer will be served, no hard alcohol/liquor is allowed on the venue property.

Question

Do you have to stay at the hotels listed on our travel guide?

Answer

No. We have reserved hotel blocks for the out town visitors but you are more than welcome to book an Airbnb or another hotel of your choice.

Question

Why virtual?

Answer

This virtual ceremony option is for guests who cannot make the in person ceremony and also for non-immediate family members and friends. Due to Covid-19 restrictions and venue capacity we have a limited guest count. We ask for your understanding and hope that you can still be in attendance as you send your love and well wishes from afar.

Question

Can you have a plus one?

Answer

Possibly. Plus ones are designated for married couples and (some)immediate friends/family members. After the official deadline for RSVP's (August 1st) we can reevaluate the guest count to allow for plus ones to be added. You are more than welcome to reach out after August 1st to see if spots are available.

Question

If I RSVP'd on the electronic "Save The Date" link do I need to RSVP through the Zola Site?

Answer

YES, YES, YES!!! The save the date is simply used for the purpose of announcing the date. It allowed us to get an estimate on numbers as well. Things happen and although some may have stated they would be in attendance, it may change as we get closer to the date.

Question

Why am I invited to the in person and virtual Ceremony?

Answer

The in person ceremony is being offered to immediate family members and close friends FIRST. If you are invited to both virtual and in person, please select the correct location in which you wish to attend. This will allow us to open the guest list for plus ones and guests who did not make the immediate family/friend list.

Question

Is Smoking allowed?

Answer

Absolutely NO SMOKING inside the barn or pavilion, kitchen, grooms lounge. Any violator’s will be removed from the premises immediately. Smoking is allowed outside in our designated areas. It is the responsibility of The Host to ensure that all cigarette butts are properly disposed of. There are “SMOKER’S POTS” located throughout the venue to dispose of all cigarette butts. Failure to do so will result in forfeiting our security deposit.

Question

Are Masks Required?

Answer

Masks are highly recommended even if vaccinated. We would also highly recommend a Covid test before you attend. We will provide masks but you are also more than welcome to wear your own.
