What is the schedule of events on Wedding Day?

Answer

Our ceremony will be held at the Embassy Suites Downtown Pittsburgh and will begin promptly at 4:00 PM. Following the ceremony, guests are invited to enjoy cocktails and hors d'oeuvres at the Embassy Suites Downtown Pittsburgh from 4:30-6:00 PM. Our reception will be held right down the hall from cocktail hour at the Embassy Suites from 6:00 until 10:00 PM.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We ask that you arrive by 3:30 PM to ensure you can get parked and inside to find your seat!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Parking for the ceremony and reception is available at the Embassy Suites via valet for overnight guests or self-park in the Oliver Garage (adjacent to the hotel's reception venue) located at 350 Oliver Avenue. Pittsburgh, PA 15222.

What should I wear?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. No jeans please! All wedding events will be held indoors, so don't sweat the August heat!

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

We love your little ones but know how much you deserve a night out! Please make prior arrangements for child care for any children not listed on your invitation.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Please note any allergies or dietary restrictions on your RSVP form so we can be sure to make accommodations.

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

We love photos! We do ask that you refrain from taking photos during the ceremony as we’d like that time to be unplugged. For the rest of the wedding, we encourage guests to post pictures using our wedding hashtag #MarryingMarnich or find a QR code to our Google Photos album so we can see them, too!
