Collin and Brittany met in 2013 on a medical mission trip in the Dominican Republic. They starting dating months after their return. They both went to school at Daemen College in Buffalo, NY for physician assistant studies, one year apart. While they resided in Buffalo for a number of years, Collin and Brittany have since returned to Syracuse and now bleed orange everyday. Since they first met, they continue to practice medicine and have participated in five additional medical mission trips together. They enjoy their complimentary medical skills and the ability to help others while working together. Outside of the clinic, Collin and Brittany enjoy traveling and the outdoors, including hiking, cycling, kayaking, and anything else outside. They have climbed the Inca trail to Machu Picchu together, Mount Katahdin, Cadillac mountain for a sunrise hike, the presidential traverse, traveled to dozens of countries together, and are Adirondack 46ers. It was very fitting that Collin asked Brittany to marry him on one of their trips. They were hiking the Gros Piton Mountain on March 20th, 2018 in St. Lucia. They cannot wait for their next adventure of marriage and spending the rest of their lives together.
On a cold day in November, Collin and Brittany went up to the Syracuse Dome to wait for their favorite basketball team to take the court. While they were a little early, a man approached them asking if they would be willing to do the Skaneateles jewelry shoot out. With some hesitation Collin eventually agreed and at the 12 minute time out Collin and Brittany took the court. Collin made a lay up, free throw, and a three point shot, all winnings towards the ring-- fitting since the Dome is one of their favorite places.
