Tell me about your first date? S: Our first date was the longest date I had ever been on! We meet for dinner in NODA at Cabo Fish Taco on a crazy busy Friday night and from the time we meet for dinner we talked like we knew each other for years. After dinner we decided to grab a drink down the street and it didn't end there! After having a great night we topped it off with desert at a third place. We both decided we had to call it a night at some point but both knew it was far from the last date. What is your favorite activity together? S: Camping is my favorite thing we enjoy together. Its important to get away from the crazy life we live between so many hours at work. E: I love trying new places together. Whether we are traveling or even stumble across and new brewery or restaurant.

How did you two meet? E: We met about a year after we both relocated to Charlotte, following our careers. He had just completed the fire academy for Charlotte Fire Dept. and I was working at Carolinas Medical Center - Main. I guess you could say we were both in the right place at the right time. What is your favorite memory together? S: Making the house we bought together feel like home. We remodeled it ourselves and made it our own. E: Our first camping trip together was probably my favorite memory. It was just us two and we sat in front of the fire and played Rummy for hours! It has now become our "thing" that we do every time we go camping.
