RILC will open its doors at 4:30 PM. We kindly ask that all guests arrive between 4:30 - 4:45 PM. The ceremony will begin promptly at 5 PM. Late arrival will result in entry denial by staff and you will not be allowed to enter the ceremony space.
Dress Code: Formal / Semi-Formal Feel free to dress to impress! Ladies: long dresses are welcome but not required—cocktail dresses and dressy skirts all fit perfectly. Gentlemen: We kindly ask that men wear suits or suit jackets. Just come ready to celebrate in style!
All of my beautiful bridesmaids will be rocking my ‘something blue’—a perfect pop of color to brighten the day and keep the tradition alive!
Our ceremony will be unplugged, so we kindly ask that you please do NOT take pictures or videos during the ceremony. We’ve hired professional photographers to capture every special moment for you! There will be a brief moment during the ceremony specifically set aside for photos—please wait until then to snap any pictures. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos as you like to celebrate and share the day!
Due to the limited space, we can only allow guests named on your invitation. If you received a plus one, it will appear under your name when you RSVP. We would love to keep our wedding an intimate event with only close friends and family. Thank you for understanding!
For the ceremony, there won’t be assigned seats—just some rows reserved for family. Feel free to choose any seat you like (and remember, it’s “choose a seat, not a side!”). At the reception, seating will be assigned with a seating chart to help everyone find their spot and enjoy the celebration comfortably.
Yes, there is plenty of parking available at Rock Island Lake Club, including on-site parking and valet service. For guests staying at the hotel, we’ll also have a shuttle running to and from the venue to make transportation easy and stress-free!
There are very limited, if any, ride share options available in the vicinity of the venue. We ask that if you are driving, please be responsible throughout the evening. If you feel impaired, please take one of the shuttles to the hotel where there may be more options available. You can leave your car at the venue overnight, but it must be picked up by 11am the next day.
We love all the kids in our life! Due to the nature of our wedding, this will be an adult only event. We encourage you to take a date night on us!
The ceremony will be held outdoors (weather permitting) and the reception will be held indoors.
