Sister of the Bride: Amber is not only the best sister but also an amazing best friend. Catherine has been so blessed to grow up alongside Amber and could never imagine a better big sister to go through life with. Through the trials of growing up together these two have only become closer with each passing year. Catherine's favorite memory with Amber was the announcement of Amber's first pregnancy. Since then, Catherine has enjoyed watching her big sister take on motherhood. She is so honored to have Amber stand by her side on her big day!

Older Brother of the Groom: Brothers are typically built-in friends. This was no different for Eric and Alec growing up. Alec's favorite childhood memories were their annual trips to Cedar Point and Eric introducing Alec to video games. Alec is looking forward to having Eric stand up with him at his wedding and is excited to be standing up with Eric for his wedding in September.

Through the awkward stages of middle school, many broken hearts, high school drama, and so much more they have faced it all together. Jacinda, who presents herself as the shy quiet friend, has been the calm to Catherine's crazy storm for almost 20 years. Catherine is thrilled that Jacinda will be next to her as she marries her best friend!
Jerry Carlson

Future brother-in-laws, Alec and Jerry, met one Friday pizza night over the summer of 2017 when Catherine first brought Alec home to meet her family. Alec's favorite memory with Jerry is the Six Flag's day they had in Texas one summer and the late-night Call of Duty Zombie games they played. He is looking forward to gaining Jerry as a brother officially on the day of the wedding.

From grade school to high school to college to adulthood, Cassandra has been there through it all. An almost 20 year friendship in the making! Catherine could not imagine this day without her in it! Her favorite memory with Cassandra was celebrating and standing up with Cassandra at her very own wedding this past April.
Michael Carlson

Alec never had a younger brother. It wasn't until he met Michael, Catherine's younger brother, that he felt he had gained one. Alec has enjoyed watching Michael graduate from middle school, then high school, and is now enjoying watching Michael as he navigates college. Alec and Michael are not only soon to be brothers in law, but also fraternity brothers as Michael just recently joined Alec's fraternity, Sigma Nu. Alec's favorite memory with Michael is when they took a road trip to Texas with Catherine during the Summer of 2023. Alec is looking forward to officially having a younger brother.
Jaci Thompson

Jaci and Catherine met freshman year of high school. They soon became inseparable, spending as much time together as possible. Even when Jaci moved to Florida after high school, the two continued to talk nearly everyday. Catherine's favorite memory with Jaci is the birth of Jaci's baby girl. Catherine has loved watching Jaci's journey as a new mom and she is so excited to see Jaci at her wedding after so many years of being apart!
Sean Ryan

Sean and Alec met in 6th grade on the first day of middle school in Language Arts class. They became closer friends during the start of the wrestling season. Through the years, Sean and Alec grew together both physically, but also spiritually. They attended the same youth group as well as went on a mission trip to Mexico together. In high school, Sean asked Alec to be his sponsor and godfather during his baptism. Alec could not imagine his wedding day without Sean present.
McKayla Snedeker

McKayla and Catherine met in college when they both joined their sorority, Sigma Sigma Sigma. Since then, the two have bonded over their love for teaching Math and love for their fur babies. Catherine's favorite memories with McKayla all involve McKayla 'tearing it up' on the dance floor. Catherine can't wait to dance the night away at her wedding with McKayla!
John Kiely

John and Alec met in 3rd grade playing for the same park district baseball team, The A's. They shared many memories growing up together, but Alec's favorites are the many Modransky Family trips that John somehow found himself attending, especially the many Father's Day trips to Cedar Point and Alec's older brother's wedding in Mexico. Most recently, Alec has enjoyed playing both pickleball and golf with John. Alec is excited to see John's goofy dance moves during the reception.
Emma Wynne

Emma and Catherine, soon to be sisters in laws, met on Catherine and Alec's spring break trip to Nashville in 2023. Although they have not known each other long, Catherine feels blessed for the friendship that she has found in Emma. Her favorite memory with Emma is when they went shopping together at the Aurora Outlet Mall for some sister (in law) bonding time. Catherine is excited to have Emma stand up with her own her wedding day and thrilled to be standing up with Emma at her wedding just one month later!
Max Peckenpaugh

Alec met Max during his freshman year of high school when they both joined the wrestling team. The two then went off to college together at NIU where they both joined the fraternity, Sigma Nu. Alec's favorite memories with Max are the many ping-pong matches that they have played together over the years. Alec can't wait to see Max's dance moves at the wedding reception.
Rebeccah Coppernoll

Rebeccah and Catherine met while teaching together at Rockford Environmental Science Academy. During Covid, they bonded over their love for coffee and dislike for e-learning! Catherine's favorite memory with Rebeccah was Twin day 2021 (pictured above). She can't wait to dance to the 90's "bops" and early 2000's "bangers" with Rebeccah at the wedding reception!
Alec John (AJ) Stanton

Alec and AJ met in college when Alec first joined his fraternity, Sigma NU. They connected over their names, and AJ eventually took Alec as his little. The two went on to add two more Alecs to their Greek family. Alec's favorite memories with AJ are all the made-up songs AJ would sing while playing his guitar in the old Sigma Nu house. Alec hopes to hear many of these songs throughout the wedding day and night.
Alex Lomenick

Alec with a 'C' and Alex with an 'X' met during the 5th grade. They bonded over their similar names, anime, and Pokemon. In high school they both wrestled together. More recently, they have taken up pickleball and grilling together on the weekends. Alec's favorite memories with Alex are the 24 hour binges they have had following the release of each new Pokemon game. Alec is honored to have Alex be a part of his special day and is looking forward to his dance moves during the reception.
Connor Kocolowski

Alec and Connor met through a mutual friend. They were friends in high school but got closer when they both came home from college. Alec's favorite memories with Connor are their late nights playing Mario and their annual lake house trip. Alec is looking forward to having Connor's calm demeanor with him on his big day.
Nick (Pablo) Schuzer

Alec and Nick met in middle school during 6th grade English. During that class, Nick gained the nickname "Pablo" and it has lasted to this day. Alec's favorite memory with Nick (Pablo) is when they finished an entire blueberry Baker Square pie while sitting in the middle of the kitchen floor one late night in high school. Alec hopes to have that same energy when eating the late-night snack at the wedding reception with Nick (Pablo).

Classmates, teammates, and eventually college roommates, Alec and Nate were together through each season of life. Alec's favorite memory with Nate is when they won state for gymnastics in high school. Alec is delighted to start this new season of married life with his longtime friend, Nate, there to watch.
