FAQs

Question

Are we required to bring food to the reception?

Answer

No, this is not mandatory, but appreciated. We mostly want everyone to come and have a good time!

Question

I'm coming from out of town - is there a suitable hotel in Kenton?

Answer

Please refer to the "hotel" tab on the site for further information.

Question

Will there be alcohol at this wedding?

Answer

Yes - we plan to provide you with an open bar. If you wanted to contribute to the bar stock, you may do so rather than getting us a gift from the registry.

Question

I'm a vegetarian - will there be a vegetarian option available?

Answer

That totally depends on what people bring! The main course will be pulled pork, but again, this is a potluck - so if you have dietary restrictions, you are welcome to bring your own dish.

Question

Will there be music/dancing?

Answer

Yes! We will have a dance floor set up as well as music! Any song requests can be made when you RSVP on the website.

Question

What will happen if it rains?

Answer

We are renting tents that can be closed in if the weather is not permitting.

Question

Will there be a wedding ceremony?

Answer

No, Tylor & Alea are eloping in Alaska the first week of September. The reception is a celebration of their union specifically for friends and family.

Question

I don't know what type of dish I want to bring yet - can I still RSVP?

Answer

Yes! This website has an option available where you can go back and edit your RSVP, if you'd like.

Question

Do we have to purchase anything from the Registry?

Answer

Absolutely not! These are just suggestions, if you wanted to get us a gift and didn't know what to get! We understand that these items can get quite pricey, so it definitely is not required. *A suggested alternative is bringing a bottle of liquor of your choosing*

Question

Are children allowed?

Answer

Yes! Children are welcome, we plan to provide yard games if they want to play.
