We met at Bridgewater State University. Nope-- that's a lie! We were both enrolled in Bridgewater for three years overlapping and joined Greek Life in separate sororities. It was only when we were living in the same apartment complex (off-campus I might add) that we...still didn't find each other. It took the help of a very famous online dating app for us to find each other. Once we did though, there was no separating us.

Steph proposed to Gina on October 11, 2019. Steph helped fly Gina's mom (Cathy) and sister (Angela) down to South Carolina for the momentous occasion. Steph texted Gina that she wanted to meet in the South Carolina Botanical Gardens, right by their apartment, to take a walk. When Gina arrived, she was ecstatic to see her family there! Stephanie quickly took to proposing on a swinging bench under some of the park's most beautiful arches. Gina of course, said yes.

I had bought the ring a few months before because I saw it and just knew. Right after Steph proposed to me, I called our favorite escape room place and booked Dr. Fratelli's Cabin for two on a Saturday afternoon. Out of all the escape rooms we had done, this was the one we did not finish. I took Steph into the room and a video started playing with pictures of us over the years and a message asking her to marry me. She quickly said yes and we moved on to beat the record for that room.

Our dating anniversary is the same day Steph officially adopted our cat, Minerva. We had only been on one date prior but we knew it was forever. On our second date, we both walked into Steph's apartment to find her new kitten greeting us. Whether it was because Minerva wanted two moms, or because of our love for each other, we decided to start dating on that same day, December 3, 2017, and the three of us have been together ever since.
