We're Getting Married!

Ally & Robert met & fell in love at first sight on a sunny June day in San Francisco watching the Giants crush the Nationals 7-1 at AT&T Park. Rob planted his sunglasses in Ally's purse hoping to secure a chance to see her again. It may have taken Rob three tries before Ally finally came around to the idea of a date, but the moral of the story is that she did! The rest is history..... Shortly after starting to date in Fall 2014, Ally headed up to UC Davis where she started her Masters while Rob finished his undergrad at Menlo. The two-hour commute didn't stop them from seeing each other nearly every weekend. While untraditional, they will both credit this beginning as the foundation of their strong relationship. The next year, Ally moved back home intending to take some time off to pass the CPA Exam. Rob moved to San Jose where he "studied" as well. By this point they were nearly inseparable. Their love for travel - especially together - started to (literally) take flight. A & R took many of their first trips together, which only continued to let their relationship grow and mature. After working together for two years, they moved in to the guest house on Ally's parents' property. They realized they knew each other's strength's, weaknesses, and nuances - and they loved every one of them. As they outgrew their little space in Saratoga, they finally moved into their own apartment in downtown San Jose where they have joined WAY too many wine clubs. But they are also close enough to their office, to walk to work so the wine calories don't count, right? They love the up & coming vibes of their new neighborhood and being located close to good friends. To Ally's complete surprise, Robert proposed on her 26th birthday at their favorite restaurant surrounded by close friends & family. It was perfect in every. single. way. Each day they wake up loving each other more than the last and absolutely CANNOT WAIT to get married & live happily ever after.
