Marrying A Leffew

We were matched online through match. Our first time meeting was the day I was moving into a new apartment. It was " Hi I'm Jessica nice to meet you. This is all my junk, where I will be living, and my whole family." I knew right then if he liked me already at my worst I was golden, he could be the one.

A few months out of the year it's ** EAT * SLEEP * HOCKEY** for us, something we both enjoy doing together. This game was already going to be special because we were both inviting our families to meet for the first time in 2 years. While I thought it was as simple as just our parents meeting; little did I know Dustin had been planning the other details of this day for 3 months. Dustin managed to invite not only our hockey family but also brother/sisters/parents/grandparents/aunts/uncles/niece/nephew and cousins to this day (21 people). Oblivious me thought nothing of it other than "dang this is a lot of people" HA . Long story short during the second period Dustin arranged for the mascot Ringo to come see me ( I thought it was for the kids) until he pretend to propose. This is something Ringo has done before so again I just laughed thought nothing of it and was turning around to give Dustin hell that "see even Ringo wants to marry me" Well.... As I turn around to tell Dustin he was already down on one knee with everyone around us. I was absolutely shocked! I did not see this coming, I mean just a few hours prior I was asking the parents if it would be ok if we just skip to a baby since I didn't picture this day happening any time soon. LOL Dustin did amazing not only with planning this night, but also with the ring.

Honolulu, HI is the plan if COVID allows it, fingers crossed. This is going to be our first actually vacation together and both of ours first times to go. We know Hawaii is expensive, but it is so beautiful and something we will probably never be able to do again. We have been blessed with a place to stay for a week and are looking forward to some new adventures to try. We are hoping to go parasailing, scuba diving, attend a luau (sorry Dustin) lol, and of course spend lots of time at the beach. Hawaii 2020 here come the new Mr. & Mrs. Leffew (hopefully)!
