What should I wear?

Answer

For the ceremony, wear colorful clothes without patterns if possible. Butterflies are much more likely to land on you that way! Also, keep in mind that the butterfly house is very warm, sitting at about 85 degrees. For the reception, wear weather-appropriate clothes!

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

For those of you invited to attend our ceremony, being on time is imperative. Please arrive promptly at 5:15! Due to the nature of the venue, we will all be welcomed into the space together. Late arrivals will not be able to enter, and the doors will open at 5:30!

What can I bring into the ceremony venue?

Answer

You will be able to bring yourself, your phone, and any clothing items you might need. Keeping the butterflies, plants, and animals safe is a priority, so no food or drink except water will be allowed inside.

Why is the ceremony being kept so small?

Answer

The butterfly house limits the number of guests for the ceremony to a very small number, and other venues we looked at were well beyond our budget. Because of those two factors, we are extremely limited. We wish that all of you could be there with us, and we look forward to seeing you at the reception to celebrate with us as friends and family.

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We welcome you to take pictures during the reception! We will have disposable cameras given to guests so you can capture the day. At the end of the wedding, we will collect them and develop them so we can all enjoy them.

We ask that you RSVP no later than March 10th. If that isn't possible, reach out to either of us.
