We’d love to see our family and friends get dressed up for the big day. Dress code is formal attire. The ceremony will be outdoors in a grassy area, so leave the stilettos at home. Yes, we have booked the entire house for family & wedding party! For those outside of family & wedding party we recommend the following hotels: Picton Harbour Inn, or The Royal Hotel.
Yes! Both breakfasts (for family & wedding party), rehearsal dinner, and reception dinner will be covered.
The greatest gift of all is your presence on our special day. However, should you wish to contribute to our honeymoon, your contribution can be given with your wedding card and dropped in the card box at the reception.

Yes! There is free parking located at the back of the house.
We are asking our guests to join in an unplugged ceremony (no cellphones please). We have hired professional photographers & videographers to capture the entire day.
Yes! We encourage guests to post pictures on their social media, our only request is that you tag us and include our wedding hashtag, #marriedatthemerrill, so we can keep track of the night!
Due to limited space, we’re only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on our wedding invitation. If you received a plus one they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding!
The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will take place outdoors, weather permitting.
Not indoors, but there are designated smoking areas outside with provided ashbins to keep the outdoors in pristine condition.
Check-in is at 3 PM. Park behind the house and you’ll meet Madeline in the lobby.
You’re more than welcome to take any of the fresh bouquets on the table, except Jaclyn‘s bridal bouquet at the sweetheart table. We kindly ask you to wait until the end of the night and not take any candles, or additional signs/decorations as they belong to the house.
