Our love story, which I owe to my best friend and maid of honor, Breanne, is a tale of unexpected connections. Breanne, who had been keeping Timothy, a friend from her high school days, away from me for years, finally decided to introduce us. She was convinced that our connection would be undeniable, but she didn't want her closest friends to become romantically involved. After hearing so much about him, I was thrilled when we finally met! It was amazing how quickly we clicked, and before long, we were inseparable. As cliché as it may sound, it truly was love at first sight. We have been together for five years. While our journey hasn't been perfect, we have grown together and strengthened our relationship through the challenges we've faced. Overcoming these obstacles has only made us stronger, and we couldn't be happier.

Timothy's proposal was nothing short of magical. It happened during Mardi Gras on our Valentine's Day date. He took me to get my nails done and then to the Audubon Aquarium & Insectarium in New Orleans. We then took the streetcar down Canal Street to Fogo de Chão, where he proposed amidst a lively parade. As we exited the restaurant, fireworks were going off over the river, adding to the enchantment of the moment. It was a scene straight out of a fairy tale, better than anything I could have possibly imagined.
