It all started with a little matchmaking… Francesco’s sister, Laura, and Alexa played on the same soccer team, and Laura had a feeling the two of us would be perfect for each other. Turns out she was right! Our first date was on July 29, 2023, at a cozy little diner called Saratoga. Honestly, we don’t remember much of what we talked about because we were both a bit nervous — it felt special from the very beginning. What we do remember is how easy it felt to be around each other. From that day on, we were inseparable. The rest of the summer was filled with adventure — motorbiking through downtown Edmonton, hiking in Canmore, sea-dooing on the river, and mountain biking in the river valley. Our lives fit together so effortlessly, and we quickly realized how similar we are. Some days we’ve been covered in mud from dirt biking in the morning and then dressed up for a fancy dinner downtown by night. Beyond all the adventures, family is the heart of our lives. We spend as much time as we can with the people we love, which is why our wedding reception will be held at the Marrazzo’s acreage — a place filled with special memories. We can’t wait to bring our families together and celebrate this milestone surrounded by love, laughter, and the people who mean the most to us.
